Old to New
In the former garage/bedding company, Woonbedrijf (a housing corporation in Eindhoven) will host an exhibition about the reuse of building materials.
You can see how designers use old materials, which are released during demolition and renovation work, to manufacture new products.
The exhibition also makes visitors aware of sustainability and reuse.

Rethink
At the event, StoneCycling will demonstrate that the waste that is released during renovations can be a fantastic opportunity for making new high-quality products.
Housing corporation Woonbedrijf rents out 31,000 affordable rental properties in Eindhoven and the region. Maintenance or renovation work is carried out on these houses from time to time, and during that, materials are released.
Woonbedrijf realises that they have a great responsibility with regard to these raw materials and chooses to become a sustainable organisation, step-by-step. They aim to work circularly in the future.
The exposition will stimulate designers and residents to think about sustainability and the reuse of (building) materials, and this will be presented and investigated during the Dutch Design Week!

Practical Information
The Circular Factory is open daily during DDW: Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. On weekdays, they start the day with a breakfast session (from 9:30 am to 11 am) with varying themes such as the circular economy and sustainability.
This is a great opportunity to meet others in these fields and start a meaningful conversation. Will we see you there?
